“Yoga is like music: the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.”

- BKS Iyengar

From physical asanas (postures) to pranayama (breath) and our inner selves, yoga has the power to transform our bodies, minds and lives from the inside out.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced yogi, or anywhere in between, experiencing private lessons can be a special key to unlocking a greater depth and scope of your practice. One-on-one, or in small groups, you can receive highly individualized and specialized attention from your instructor to help you make changes – big or small, both having a large impact – that will improve your strength, stamina, flexibility, and understanding and application of yogic philosophy (on and off the mat).

When you can practice in truly proper alignment, your progress and evolution can no no bounds! Give yourself the gift of privately taught yoga.

Sarah has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years, working privately with friends and students to share her knowledge, and Peter started his regular practice two years ago and has since incorporated yoga into his physical therapy treatment approach when appropriate. Sarah and Peter both earned their 200 hour yoga teacher certification with their mentor Marianne Wells, and continue to deepen their personal practices and study with experts across the yoga community to enhance and expand the teachings they offer.

As Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT), Sarah and Peter are trained in hatha with an emphasis on Iyengar’s approach to yoga, from a therapeutic, strengthening and restorative standpoint.
